YOUR DAYCARE COSTS COULD BE LESS THAN 7 $ PER DAY OR EVEN AS LOW AS 0.32 $ PER DAY!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the near future we will be receiving our subsidized spaces from the government. The current daycare fees are 38$ per day (child 18 months and more), and 45$ per day (child of less than 18 months). A tax receipt will be provided for income tax purposes.<\/p>\n

However, please note that in Quebec everyone automatically qualifies for the Refundable Quebec Child-Care Credit Program and for advanced payments (see form below) of daycare expenses refunding up to 75% (and more including federal credit) of daycare costs. This tax refundable credit for daycare expenses was announced on March 22, 2009 by the Quebec Premier, Mr. Jean Charest: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Parents who have a family income of 125 000 $ or less and in non-subsidized daycares will profit from a comparable cost to the subsidized 7 $ \/ day daycares; The tax refundable credit allowance passes from 7.000 $ to 9.000 $\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n

In fact, your daycare costs could be less than 7 $ per day if your declared family income is less than 125 000.00 $ per year and could go as low as 0.32 $ per day depending on your income. Furthermore, you do not even have to wait for the end of the year to receive your tax credit. You can receive advanced payments of the tax credit for child-care expenses. If such is your case, to benefit from this service, simply make your request by filling out the form (tpz-1029.8.f-v(2009-10)d8.pdf<\/a>) and send to Revenue Quebec. The advanced payments will be sent out monthly.<\/p>\n

Better still, on the federal government side, you can request for a reduction on the taxes held by your employer from your wages. Therefore, total government credits (provincial and federal) could be as much as 90 – 95 % of your daycare costs.<\/p>\n
